The New Ones of Atlantis

This is A-Lee Prudhomme, the author's husband. He is pictured in their store, Necessary Luxuries, in Houston, Texas. He looks nice and happy because he is.
This picture was taken Christmas, 2005. See the moose sitting on the left of the counter behind the flashlight? A-Lee collects mooses and he turns into a little boy when he holds one. When he gets mad at his wife, he picks up his moose and makes him growl at her. When his daughter is extra nice, she gets moose kisses on her head. Yes, he is definately funny with his silly moose.

A-Lee deserves to have the first Reader's Spotlight. He has earned it. Because he is educated and well-read, Judy shared her book during its creation process with her husband from beginning to end. While she wrote The New Ones of Atantis, A-Lee read every first draft and rewrite. He read it over and over, time and again until he finally held a published hard cover book in his hand.

Because Judy began writing The New Ones of Atlantis before they opened their Necessary Luxuries store, A-Lee worked at two jobs so that Judy could focus on writing and finishing her book. The hours of work were hard and long for A-Lee and Judy but it paid off for both of them and they are very proud of what they have accomplished together.

A-Lee is Remington's Authorized Sales and Service Dealer and Epilady's National Warranter. You will never find anyone who knows more about shavers, shaving, shaver parts and repair than A-Lee does. His customers and friends love him and he enjoys his customers and going to his store everyday.

A-Lee was formerly a high school band director, performing musician,  a Hilton Food and Beverage Director, Radio Shack manager and Remington Products Store manager. He is smart, talented, works very hard, loves his family and is a typical astrological Leo. He was born in Iota, Louisiana, was raised in Jennings and Lake Charles, Louisiana, attended McNeese College and the University of Houston and moved to Texas in 1979.

A-Lee's daughter, Stacey Ripple, had twin girls, Allyson Rynea and Melissa Judith, January 2, 2007 and he is very excited about being a grandfather. He bought two tiny mooses so he can give his new grandbabies little moose kisses on their tiny sweet heads when they are good girls like his daughter. Well ... that it just too sweet!

You are a good man, A-Lee. Keep the focus and courage of a Warrior and keep giving those sweet moose kisses.
