E: I don't know how to start explaining the change in my life and soul after reading this book. Mrs. Judy, I want to say so many things and yet it is hard to find the right words. You are an angel to me, a gift from God to us here on earth who needed you so much to give us hope and feel loved. Atlantis is the place that I hope to go one day when I die. Thank you for letting me feel a part of their family and making them part of mine. When I read this book, I finally felt home. And that's a lot for me, to finally find where I belong.
I had told your husband one day that when I saw you I felt like crying and hugging you because it was as if I was in the presence of something, somebody extraordinary for which I could not explain what was going on inside of me and in my soul. Then when I read the final 2 pages I understood. I got chills all over my body and burst into tears. You are special. God Bless You. Other readers have my permission to email me: edianaquijada@yahoo.com Ediana Carolina Quijada Mendez.
A: Dear Ediana, Your heart-felt sentiment has touched me deeply. Thank you for reading The New Ones of Atlantis and for taking the time to share your feelings with me. I am honored by your compliments and I feel blessed and humbled by your praise. May your guiding spirits keep you safe and direct you toward happiness and success. I do not have to say God Bless you, because I know God already has.
Q: Hello Ms. Prudhomme, My friend recently visited your store and purchased a copy of your book, "The New Ones of Atlantis". We were wondering if you had any plans to release an audio version of the book? It looks very interesting and I am anxious to read it; however, I do a great deal of traveling and listen to audio books during these trips.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and hope to find your book in the audio section of my local bookstore. Best wishes for your continued success, Rudi.
A: Hi Rudi, I am grateful to your friend for visiting my Galleria store and for purchasing a book of The New Ones of Atlantis and I am very pleased that you are looking forward to reading it.
About the Audio Version: The audio book market is very important. Yes, I do plan to make an audio version of my book. My plan has been, to begin the audio version after the book had been released one year. The New Ones of Atlantis was released April 2006. I will begin the production of its audio version April 2007. I hope to have the audio version of my book released as my second book, "The New Ones of Atlantis - Book II - Warriors, Pirates and the Atlantean Treasure" goes to publication. Then, one year from the publication date of my second book, I will do the audio version of it as I release my third book. Because I have many books about Atlantis and many wonderful stories to tell you, I will continue this pace as long as God allows.......
.......Thank you for your interest in The New Ones of Atlantis and for taking the time to email me. If you have other questions, please ask. I hope you will email me again after you finish reading The New Ones of Atlantis and share your thoughts and feelings with me.
E: Hello my name is Melissa. I read your book and I think its the best book ever and cant wait till the next book is out. I feel so lucky to have talked to your husband and to have bought the book. if the world could only be like our book then sign me up for a long term visit forever. Lol. this is a book that I will pass on to my friends and family for them to injoy to, or I will just buy them a copy and keep mine all to myself to read again till you get the next book wrote...I have many thoughts in my head for a book but never the right words to make it to the pages of one, so I give you many claps and thank you's from the bottom of my heart and say keep them coming I need to read them. Thankfully yours, Melissa
A. Hello Melissa, I remember our brief encounter at Necessary Luxuries at The Houston Galleria. After you left our store, I told A-Lee you were very sweet and pretty. Just as I felt when I first saw you, you are as pretty inside as you are on the outside.
Thank you so much for your complimentary email. It means a great deal to me that you enjoyed my book, The New Ones of Atlantis. It delights me that you called it "our" book. Because you have embraced it, and because it has made an impression upon your life, I can truly say, Melissa, I wrote this book for you. I knew if I could report my dreams accurately, you would know, as I do, Atlanteans are the most wonderful people in the world. They are not names and descriptions in a book. They reach beyond the page, embrace you intimately, passionately, lovingly, become a permanent delightful memory in your mind and heart and then you are never the same again.
The New Ones and I appreciate that you will buy books for your friends and family, thereby helping us tell the world about our glorious Atlanteans. Everyone has a different favorite part of the book, something that moved them, touched them deeply, made them cry, angry or laugh out loud. This is positive proof of the book's intro ... "it will whirl your emotions".
I wish you luck in your writing endeavors. I had a performance coach tell me once that, "actors act, singers sing, dancers dance, artists paint and writers write". So, Melissa, get those words and ideas out of your head, onto paper or typed into your computer. Write, read it, and then keep rewriting it until it says and feels as you think it should. Don't put it off. Don't quit if it comes out crappy. Just keep trying until you get it right. If you think you can, then you can. I apply that principle to all things in my life. I learned it from my Atlanteans. It works for me and it will work for you too.
I worked on my next book, Warriors, Pirates and the Atlantean Treasure, for 14 hours yesterday. I began that writing day on Monday at 8 pm and I stopped writing Tuesday at 10 am. I slept for 4 hours, and then I jumped up to do laundry, bookkeeping, answer emails and then I will continue writing this evening. As you requested, I am trying very hard to have another book for you by the end of 2007.
You said, "Keep them coming, I need to read them."
Well, you read them, I will write them and together we will tell everyone about our beloved New Ones.
Thank you for your applause. I accept it gratefully, graciously and very humbly. I am thankfully yours too!
Q. Ms. Prudhomme, I love your book. If the next one was finished, I would buy it this minute. I have to know if Lord Beast meets Leona and I have to know if Lord Beast finds (you know who) for Warrior Burr. When do you expect to be finished with The New Ones of Atlantis second book, “Warriors, Pirates and the Atlantean Treasure”? By the way, I love that title. Tom in Vermont
A. Dear Tom in Vermont … I am so glad that you enjoyed my book and that you are eager to have the next one. I have already completed about 40% of it. I will try very hard to complete it so that it can be published by the end of 2007. I am also pleased that you like the title of the next book, “Warriors, Pirates and the Atlantean Treasure”. Although it has a very masculine title, the second book, like the first one, is as much tender as it is masculine. I promise, the wait for Lord Beast meeting Leona and the adventure to find … you know who … will be worth the wait. I love writing it for you. Thanks for taking the time to email me.
Q. Dear Judy Prudhomme, I read the Amazon.com book reviews before I bought your book, The New Ones of Atlantis, and I absolutely agree with everything every reviewer wrote. WOW! I laughed, cried, hated Captain Carver, fell in love with Lord Beast, Warrior Burr and Warrior Mayner, would just die to date Rie, could hug Daisy to pieces, would give all I have for an audience with Lord Priest and Kleech and I wish I was as smart and cagey as Athena. I was entertained and enlightened from beginning to end. I totally believe that you are a Dream Seer. Do you dream about other things besides Atlantis? I am anxiously awaiting your reply and I will be very disappointed if you do not answer my email. Sheila, Washington, DC.
A. Dear Shelia, I am very pleased to receive and answer your email. Thank you so much for reading The New Ones of Atlantis and for sharing your thoughts and feelings with me. It truly touches my heart that you love my Atlanteans and that you enjoyed my book. About your question: Mostly, I am an Atlantean Dream Seer. However, I do have dreams that pertain to present day life too. I think it is the Spirit’s way of constantly reassuring me of the validity of my Seer gift and never allowing me to doubt a single aspect of any dream. The Spirit is always with me, awake or asleep, guiding me, speaking to me. I always feel loved. I never feel alone.
Q. Dear Judy, Do you give readings and how much do you charge? Harold, Pensacola, Florida.
A. Hello Harold. I do not give readings in the way that psychics do. I also never volunteer information unless I am asked. When I am asked, if I know, I will tell him or her what the Spirit has allowed me to “See”. I do not allow a person to ask me a specific question; such as … is my husband cheating or should I invest in this stock? I only allow them to ask me this: “Do you know something about me, that you can tell me?” The Spirit hears their question and lets me “See” them clearly or the Spirit tells me what it is important for the person to know. I always caution first, “Be sure you are ready to hear the answer.” Although many agree that I am a psychic, I have never thought of myself as one. Instead of a psychic, I think I am more of a Spiritual Warrior. The Spirit seeks to help people know himself or herself better, guide them away from negativity and toward a happier more productive life. How much do I charge? Nothing! I have never charged for helping and sharing. Long ago, someone told me: “Talent is the gift that God gives you. What you do with your talent is the gift you give God.” Whether or not my Seer ability is a gift or a talent, God gave it to me freely, so I share it freely. It is how I share my love and knowledge of the Godly Spirit with others.
Q. Judy, Judy, Judy … OK, I guess you have probably heard that line before. Sorry, I could not pass it up. I have never written an author before now. You are my first. Because your book has grabbed hold of my brains and won’t let go, I had to write to say, way to go, Judy. I love books about science fiction and warriors and pirate movies. The cover of your book caught my eye, I read the bookflaps and was hooked. Hey, I love this book. No kidding! You are a damn good writer and you just got to write lots and lots of books. I never thought that I would read a 700 page book and then not want it to end. But, just like you guaranteed, I wished it hadn’t ended. I wish it had been twice that many pages. My favorite part was Lord Beast’s battle to be King and Athena’s battle to become the third ruler. That was totally awesome! And, I totally enjoyed the pirate part. Poah’s life just stabbed me right in my heart and I would like to cut Carver’s throat with the same dagger that Poah threw at him and stuck in the sand. Judy, these people were totally fun to read about and get mad over. Fun! Fun! Fun! When can I buy the next book, “Warriors, Pirates, and the Atlantean Treasure”? Thanks for giving me the next title. That was totally cool. Also, will there be more fighting and adventure in the next book and will it be as good as it was in the first book? I am a big fan so you got to write me back. Thanks. Al, San Francisco, CA.
A. Hi Al. Yes, I have heard the Judy, Judy, Judy thing a time or two and I smiled when I read yours. Thanks so much for writing me. I am honored to be your first. I am delighted that you enjoyed my book and that you shared your favorite part of The New Ones of Atlantis with me. Lord Beast’s battle with the Fierce 400 and Athena’s battle with the challengers of The Mighty 1,000 are two of my favorite parts of the book too. I have already begun the next book, “Warriors, Pirates and the Atlantean Treasure”. Hopefully, I can have it published by the end of 2007. In the first book, I guaranteed that you would not want it to end. For “Warriors, Pirates and the Atlantean Treasure”, I promise you action, battles, sex, love, adventure and emotional excitement. My second book moves at a quicker pace without sacrificing the meat of the story or colorful descriptions. Because I have already explained Atlantis, I can now build upon that solid foundation without having to explain each person, place and situation. Now the reader can move through Atlantis and go on adventures with the Warriors without too much explanation. I promise you will like this one too, Al. I am very honored to have you as my fan and I hope to hear from you again as you and I share the lives and adventures of The New Ones and Atlantean Warriors together.
Q. Dear Judy Prudhomme. Please tell me that poor Lord Beast gets laid in the next book. Does he? And, does Athena ever give Rie any? I am already sexually frustrated enough because I am not getting laid either. I will feel much better knowing that they get some even if I’m not. Please help to ease my frustration. Mr. Got To Know in Des Moine, Iowa.
A. Dear Mr. Got To Know, I promise by the end of “Warriors, Pirates and the Atlantean Treasure” that you, Lord Beast and Rie will no longer be as frustrated. Thank you so much for your email. It gave me a real good laugh.
Q. OK, Judy, I know it is real rude to ask, but I going to ask anyway. How old are you? I know you live in Houston. Is that where you are from? I lived in Texas for a few years. I loved the state and the Texans. Are you a Texas girl? Where have you lived? From Carrie in Iowa
A. Hello Carrie in Iowa. I love Texas and Texans too. I do not think you are rude for asking my age. I don’t mind telling you at all. As of 2006, I am 57. Yes, I do live in Houston and I am definitely a Texas southern belle. I sound like one too. I was born in Orange, Texas, a small town about 100 miles east of Houston. I lived in Provo, Utah (near Salt Lake City) for almost a year when I was 6 years old. My father was a construction Foreman for Bethlehem Steel. His company transferred him there. When his job ended, my family moved back to Orange. When I was 30, I moved to Houston in October 1979. I remarried in 1980. When my husband worked for the Hilton in Food and Beverage Management, I lived at the Hilton in Houston and Lafayette, Louisiana for a while. You can imagine how awful that was with free room service, maids to clean my suite, dining in the Hilton restaurant every night, the chef cooking special dishes just for me, and going to the club to hear live performers whenever I wanted to. But, after a few years, my husband bought me a house. What ever was he thinking? No maids! No room service! Geez! Alas, I did survive! While I toured as a singer during the 1990’s, I maintained our home in Houston. In the 90’s, while I toured and sang, I lived in Branson, Missouri for 10 months and then in Las Vegas long enough to have a telephone number. After Vegas, I went home to Houston and in 2000 started the first of my five businesses. I have been in Houston working ever since.
Q. Dear Judy, Thank you for including your contact information in your book. I could not hardly believe it when I called your Galleria store and actually got to talk to your husband, A-Lee. He was very nice and encouraged me to email you my question. First, I want to say that I absolutely love your book, The New Ones of Atlantis. My God! I would give almost anything to write as well as you do. I felt as though I was right there in Atlantis and by the time I ended the book, I felt as though I personally knew all of the characters. Even though you got this story as a Dream Seer, I think it takes some mighty fine writing talent to achieve the effect that your book has on its readers; me, and those who reviewed your book on Amazon.com. I am a writer, or at least trying to be. I get stumped a lot. Its called writer's block and I get blocked something awful. Because your book had such seamless fluid flow, I was just wondering, during your writing process, did you ever get writers block like I do? If you did, I do not know how you could ever write a 700 page novel that felt like 200 flowing interesting pages. Did you get stumped here and there? Please say yes. From Stumped and Blocked in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A. Dear Stumped and Blocked, I am so sorry to hear that you get stumped and blocked, but I am very grateful that I do not have that misery. No, I never have writer's block and I never will. I never have to stare at a blank page or wonder what I will write next or try to decide how I should make a character act or react. For me, my Atlantean story is truth. My dreams show me, and the Atlantean people tell me the story. My job as a writer is to be a good reporter. I try my best to tell my reader what I saw, heard, felt and smelled, to help create the environment for them that I experienced. I strive only to tell this story in the most accurate and entertaining fashion possible. It is entirely the reader’s decision to believe or disbelieve. To achieve flow, I write, rewrite, edit and reedit again, and again, until my work conveys the emotion or describes the situation or character as my dreams have indicated. If I do not write a part well enough, someone shows up in my dreams and explains what I should include or exclude to create flow. I have lots of spiritual help. I never run dry. I can sit in front of my computer and continue writing for 12, 16, even 24 hours. I only stop to go to the bathroom and I eat while I type. I have very serious focus. I only stop when I get so tired that I can’t see or think clearly anymore. Then, I bathe, sleep and dream some more. I cannot shut off my mind. It is hard to make it shut up long enough for me to fall asleep. When I finally do go to sleep, the Spirit speaks, beckons me, and my Atlantean adventures continue. I become one with the Spirit. I know so many wonderful Atlantean stories to tell you. As long as I live, I will share them with those who want to read or hear them. So, Stumped and Blocked, my best suggestion to overcome your barrier is to have relentless, tireless focus, work at writing as though it will be your last chance and most importantly, ask the spirit for help. You might get an unblocked, unstumped surprise.
